Citrus Horticulturist love to play around crossing different varieties.
One day a grower crossed a Dancy Tangerine (which was full of seeds)
with a White Pumelo Grapefruit (considered seedless) and from that
cross grew a Bell shaped fruit called a Tangelo which had very few
seeds (TANGE/rinePume/LO) it was so sweet and juicy it was named
a Honeybell. Now the Honeybell Tangelo has become a favorite of many
of our customers and we only have a few so order early and remember
they are only available in January and this year into February! Florida's
sweetest, juiciest and cheapest gift fruit shipper - Reeds Groves.
